The purpose of our Club is to maintain a community center within the unincorporated village of Amber, Iowa, where community meetings and social functions can be held, and, in general, promote community and civic interest.

Since the purchase of our community building in 1967, we have worked together to keep it open and available for anyone to use. Our Club officially formed in 1982 and has been able to secure funding for many improvement projects in hopes of passing on a better community center to future generations.

We hold two pancake breakfasts every year (spring and fall) in addition to various fun activities such as movie nights, a chili cook off, Christmas party and grill outs so people can get to know their neighbors.

We have two projects currently, renovation of our outdoor playground equipment and completing the renovation of the lower level of our building.

The playground equipment will bring back childhood memories, the tall metal slide, metal merry go round, overhead monkey bars and the swingset with the teeter totters on both sides. Currently the teeter totters are not available but will return.

The lower level of the building is in the process of being renovated so when the building is rented out both the upper and lower levels will be suitable for entertaining. The building is rented out for family gatherings, graduation parties, baby showers, birthday parties, bridal showers and a variety of other uses.  Our building is handicapped accessible as well.

Please consider donating to our community club and please follow us on Facebook. We welcome you to come to any events.
