Every day, someone in our community faces an unexpected crisis that puts their housing at risk. A job lost, a medical emergency, or a sudden unexpected expense can push a family to the edge. Your support provides immediate, safe shelter when it matters most.

The Sisters of St. Francis have always stepped forward to meet the needs of the times. Today, housing is one of our community's most urgent needs. Many local families are just one crisis away from losing their home.

The Housing & Shelter Support Fund was created to provide temporary emergency shelter for individuals and families who suddenly find themselves without a safe place to stay.  This brief period of stability gives people time to determine their next steps, access resources, and begin rebuilding their lives.

People experiencing homelessness are our neighbors. Many are working, attending school, or caring for children. They do not wish to be homeless.  They deserve safety, dignity, and hope at one of the hardest moments in their life.

and the reassurance that this community cares.
