What is Great Give Day?
Great Give Day is a 24-hour, online giving event organized by the Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque to grow philanthropy in our seven-county region, including Allamakee, Clayton, Clinton, Delaware, Dubuque, Jackson and Jones Counties. This year's giving day will take place on Thursday, May 11.
The goal of Great Give Day is to inspire the community to come together for 24 hours to give as much as possible to support the work of local nonprofits. The minimum donation is $10; there is no maximum. Bonus prize grants from corporate sponsors amplify charitable donations to make each dollar go further.

In order to participate, a nonprofit must be registered a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with an endowed fund with the Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque. Nonprofits must register and complete a profile on www.GreatGiveDay.org by the March 31, 2017, registration deadline to participate.
Important Dates for Participating Nonprofits
- Registration closes: Friday, March 31*
- Last day to make changes to nonprofit profile: Wednesday, April 5*
- Donors can begin to schedule donations: Thursday, April 20
- Great Give Day: Thursday, May 11
