Something great is coming!

The Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque is excited to present Great Give Day, our 24-hour, online giving event hosted annually to empower communities and ignite generosity in our region: Allamakee, Clayton, Clinton, Delaware, Dubuque, Jackson and Jones Counties. Great Give Day inspires community members to come together for 24 hours to celebrate and support local nonprofits.

Who can participate?

Any nonprofit with an endowment fund at the Community Foundation or any of its affiliate foundations is eligible to participate and raise funds to  directly support their work. Many of these nonprofits also participate in our Great Give Day celebration in Washington Park, downtown Dubuque. Local businesses contribute additional prize dollars that are awarded throughout the day to amplify charitable donations.

Last year, over 200 nonprofits participated in Great Give Day and 1,300 generous donors gave $449,342 to support local nonprofits.

For Nonprofits

First, register to participate in this year's event. After you're approved, head to the nonprofit toolkit to start planning your fundraising and marketing campaigns. Our goal is to help you maximize your reach during this year's event!
