Dolly Parton Imagination Library of Jackson County

Dolly Parton Imagination Library of Jackson County program information:DPIL is helping to improve literacy by providing a free book in the mail each month for registered children aged 0-5.There is no income eligibility for the program. It is free to any registered child age 0-5 in Jackson County.
As of January of 2021, there are 670 children enrolled and a total of over 75,000 books having been mailed since 2010!
$28 will fund one child for one year and $140 will fund a child for five years.
We have participated in Great Give Day and Birdies for Charity for 3 years.
We actively pursue grants to sustain the DPIL program.
We have set up an endowment with the CFJC to assist with sustainability of the program.
You can register your child at any of the Jackson County Public Libraries: Maquoketa, Bellevue, Preston, or Sabula.
All donations are appreciated!--any person or organization can donate any amount!

My 2 and 3-year old sons are presently enrolled in the Dolly Parton Imagination Library program and have been for 2 years. They enjoy getting their books each month and anxiously await for me to read to them that same day! What a beneficial program this is to all the kids out there!
