Join us in Making Magic Happen at Bethany Home this Great Give Day!

This special day is our chance to rally together and make a profound difference in the lives of our beloved residents at Bethany Home.

Your support means the world to us, and this year, we're focusing on something truly magical: the Tovertafel interactive tool for our memory care unit. The Tovertafel, also known as the "magic table," is not just a game—it's a source of joy, connection, and meaningful engagement for seniors living with dementia.

Imagine the smiles, the laughter, and the shared moments of happiness as our residents interact with this innovative technology. Developed with seniors and care professionals, the Tovertafel offers a wide range of interactive games designed specifically for different stages of dementia and times of the day, including family visits and sundowning.

Your generous donations on Great Give Day will directly contribute to bringing this transformative tool to our community. Together, we can create more joyful, social connections and enhance the well-being of our residents living with dementia.

Join us in making magic happen this Great Give Day by donating to Bethany Home. Together, we can make a world of difference, one joyful moment at a time.

Testimonials

"I feel welcome here at Bethany. Everyone has gone out of their way to make sure I know I
belong to this community." - Maxine G.

• "The one thing we've really found with Mom and other relatives and friends who have been
here at Bethany is there is a plan for each individual resident. It's not a one size fits all.
Bethany developed a plan that makes Mom thrive, and the caring staff is what makes
the difference." - Edie Puls and Janet McEvoy, regarding their mother's care at Bethany Home

• "It's such a feeling of home at Bethany. We're just so blessed that Mom and Dad are here
because it's not what's on the outside but what's on the inside at Bethany, and
Bethany's inside is full of caring, compassionate people." - Cindy Sykora, regarding her parents (Anthony) Roy and Val Gawrych

• "When Mom was in the Memory Care Unit, it was such a relief to know she was safe. Safety,
safety, safety was my first concern, and the compassion! The staff! They make time for
people. They're friendly towards family members. There's never a bad time for us to
come visit. There's never a question they won't answer. They're more on top of my
parents' care than I am because they see them so much. And the homey feel! It was like
a cocoon. My mother was protected and loved."

• "We can go on vacation for a week and know that everything will be okay with Mom and Dad.
I'm updated constantly on any kind of issues or problems with my parents' health, and I
know they're in a good place."

• "There's great communication at Bethany. Right now we're experimenting with some
medication for my Mom, and the staff is keeping great tabs on her, which greatly assists
me in making smarter choices regarding her healthcare." - Julie Vyberberg, regarding her mother (Mary Lou Schreiber) and mother-in-law (Peggy
Vyberberg)

• "From maintenance all the way to the top, everybody treats you so well at Bethany. The
culture is just awesome. Everyone is so friendly and respectful with my mom. I often
wonder how they do it! I mean EVERYONE here is so wonderful. It's so good to know
that if she has to be somewhere for her healthcare that she's at the best place."

• "I feel like I'm at a resort. I don't have to think. I don't have to wash clothes. I don't have to
shop for food. I don't have to prepare food. I don't have to do anything but just breathe. I
love it. I'm so happy here. I don't even have to go out. I just love it here." - Muriel Kopinski
