Imagine a place where stories come alive, where neighbors gather, and where learning knows no bounds. This vision is becoming reality with the new Farley Library & Community Center—a transformative project that will create a vibrant hub of knowledge, creativity, and community connection.
WHERE WE ARE TODAY:
Currently, Farley residents access library services through a contract with the Dubuque County Library District, with materials housed in the Farley Municipal Building.
While this arrangement has served us well, our community has grown and evolved. Space limitations restrict our ability to expand collections and programming to meet our community’s needs.
That’s why we’re excited to announce a transformative opportunity: we’ve secured a building and land adjoining Westside Park that will allow us to triple our book collection and dramatically expand our program offerings.
This strategic acquisition, made possible through the combined support of Dubuque County Supervisors, the City, and private donors, positions us to create something extraordinary for our community.
