Clinton County Conservation Foundation

A nonprofit organization

Our outdoor programs are not just about hiking and watercraft; they are also about team building and gaining respect for nature. The future of our environment is dependent upon the attitudes and positive experiences of our you.

Our bussing scholarship program has enabled over 14,300 students to experience our parks and learn about nature.

We offer multiple programs including archery, hiking and watercraft instruction that offer memorable experiences for young people who otherwise don't have access to outdoor programs and instruction.

Day Camps provide an intensive three-day nature experience with opportunities for team-building activities and a chance to learn new skills.

Free programs like Winter Family Fund Day, Spring Fling, and Halloween at the Park provide opportunities for area families to join our naturalists and volunteers for nature presentations, crafts, and outdoor activities.

Our free Birding Cruises team area bird experts with folks from the community who get to spend an educational and eye-opening exploration of the amazing bird population in the Mississippi River backwater and channels.

Testimonials

"The facilities and properties allow thousands of visitors to experience nature first hand, fulfilling the vision of continuing to provide these experiences through the Clinton County Conservation parks. " Margo Hansen

"There is nothing quite like seeing the expressions of a school group from an urban environment when they dip a tadpole or dog a catching net into the mud and experience an outdoor environment up close for the first time." David Stedwell
