TASC, Inc. (Training Advancement Skills in the Community) is a private non-profit organization created in 1974 to be a resource for the development of community-based services for people with disabilities.  Fundamental to the agency services is the belief that people have the right to make life choices, to be included in their communities to the degree they choose and be fully satisfied with the services they receive.

TASC is committed to treating every individual in its program with dignity and respect at all times. The organization aims to build a collaborative partnership with each person to help them reach their full potential and achieve their goals. TASC also promises to deliver the highest quality services in safe, comfortable settings.

 Services TASC provides

Supported Community Living - The Supported Community Living Program will assist you in living in a safe, structured, supportive environment in the community. Services can be provided on an hourly basis (SCL) or up to 24 hours of support (Community Housing). You will have assistance with your daily living activities, medication management, personal care, transportation and community inclusion. 

Employment Services - Resume development Assistance with applications Practicing interviewing techniques Networking with local employers Reviewing grooming, hygiene, work    attire, and uniforms as needed Reviewing work behaviors and social skills (relating to co-workers/supervision) Reviewing work practices (being on time, reporting illness, proper use and treatment of equipment) Job Development Job Shadows Work Readiness Assessments Job coaching as-needed.

Day Habilitation - In this non-work program, you will gain skills in daily living, personal living, communication, mobility, socialization, and community awareness.
