Dubuque Arboretum & Botanical Gardens

The Dubuque Arboretum and Botanical Gardens (DABG) welcomes 83,000 visitors from all over the world each year. The DABG was created and is still maintained by 300 volunteers who put in 19,855 hours in 2023. 

The DABG is a popular spot in the community for outdoor weddings, concerts, and special events. The DABG holds many educational events and workshops, and partners with many non-profits and organizations in the local community. Our opportunities are growing with our partnership with Wanderwood Gardens (a new children's garden opening in 2025).

The DABG's beauty and growth are something we all can cherish - thanks to the valuable hours from our volunteers and generous grants and donations that have been blessed with.
