The Dubuque Dream Center strategy - to Impact Youth and Strengthen Families - begins with our In Your Life Mentoring model. On the foundation of genuine relationships, In Your Life Mentors are strategically connected around an individualized plan to provide a child with the assets they need to be successful in school and life.

Our program is structured to strategically impact students through our Academic Center, Spark Activities, Healthy Meals, character development curriculum and family engagement.

The Dream Center's long term vision includes holistic initiatives to benefit the entire community. Our essential youth impact structure includes Academic Initiatives, Character Development, and College & Career preparation.

The Dream Center has expanded its' program to include a private school, The Dubuque Dream Center Academy, which presently serves students K-8th grade. Consideration to establish a Charter or Private School has been a part of the Dubuque Dream Center’s Strategic Planning assessment and process since 2016. Our mission to assist students in Character Development and Reading and Math Proficiency continues to  be our top priority. Considering the outcomes and academic success of students within our present model, this next phase as a private school will enhance our opportunity to increase the impact for our students that are in need of smaller class sizes, individualized and tailored educational styles, and motivation for academic success.
